Eco Fintech — Vlektra electric bike financing
1. What we collect
We collect the information you submit in this application, including your name, CNIC number, date of birth, contact details, residential address, next-of-kin details, employment and residence stability indicators, income and expense ranges, installment preferences, selected Vlektra model, and your consent choices.
2. Why we use it
Your data is used to assess eligibility and repayment capacity for financing under the BCEM Eco Fintech program, to comply with regulatory requirements, and to communicate with you about your application.
3. Legal basis
Processing is based on your consent and our legitimate interests in providing regulated financing services. We process personal data in line with applicable law, including the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act 2016 (PECA 2016), where relevant to electronic communications and data handling.
4. Who processes your data
Authorised BCEM staff and service providers bound by confidentiality and security obligations may access your information strictly on a need-to-know basis.
5. Sharing
We may share limited application information with Vlektra as the financing / mobility partner solely for purposes related to your application and approved financing arrangement. We do not sell your personal data.
6. Security
Data is transmitted over HTTPS. CNIC numbers are stored using a one-way hash; administrative views use masked identifiers. Access to application data is restricted and audited as per internal controls.
7. Retention
We retain application and KYC-related records for at least five (5) years in line with SECP Anti-Money Laundering / Know Your Customer Regulations 2021 and related obligations, unless a longer period is required by law.
